SyBBURE Alumni Pursue Industrial and Academic Careers in 2020
In May 2020, eleven SyBBURE seniors became SyBBURE alumni!
Three of those students have proceeded to graduate schools to continue their education:
Ben Nguyen majored in Chemical Engineering and is now a graduate student in Molecular Engineering at the University of Washington
Wills Dunham majored in Medicine, Health, and Society, minored in Biological Sciences and Chemistry, and is now a graduate student in MS Biomedical Science at Tufts University School of Medicine
Louis Schatzki majored in Physics, minored in Computer Science and Theatre, and is now a graduate student in ECE at the University of Illinois
Two of those students had accepted a position as of May 2020:
Walter Siv majored in Neuroscience and Chinese Language and Culture and is now a research assistant at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Danielle Liu majored in Biochemistry and is now a SyBBURE Searle Post-Bacc Fellow
Six of those students were yet undecided or had not reported their decision as of May 2020:
Logan Kouba majored in Biological Sciences
Malia Latimer majored in Computer Science
Matt Seh majored in Mathematics and Neuroscience
Jonathan Algoo majored in Chemistry and Communication of Science and Technology
Emily Layton majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology
John Kim majored in Neuroscience
