Grace DePietro Awarded Erasmus Mundus Scholarship

Grace, a recent SyBBURE alumnus (Electrical Engineering, Class of 2021), has received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. The scholarship, funded by the European Union, will cover tuition, insurance, travel, and a monthly allowance for Grace while she attends a joint masters program in Ireland, Spain, and Norway for renewable energy in the marine environment.

SyBBURE students Cassandra Atzrodt and Tiara Oldfield and their coauthors have earned the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) Journal Most Cited Article 2020-2021. Their review paper was one of the top cited articles in the FEBS Journal in the 2020-2021 year. SyBBURE student Ethan Nguyen wins Barry Goldwater Scholarship

SyBBURE student Ethan Nguyen has won the Barry Goldwater Scholarship. The scholarship is for sophomores and juniors at 2 or 4 year universities who plan on pursuing a career in research in the natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering.
